Maintaining Good
Before graduating from college, I was an actual Good Humor Man for 4 years – it paid for my tuition! After Graduating I worked for Procter & Gamble for 2 years then opened an insurance agency which I have owned and operated for the last 43 years. In addition, I have held several leadership positions in my community where my wife and I raised our five children. I have coached over thirty youth sports teams. Over the years, I have given numerous talks to peers in my industry on goal setting & developing a plan to achieve those goals.
Key Points from my talk
Maintaining Good
1
Bringing new concepts to your students instills a culture of continuous learning
2
Recognizing & helping students talk through issues they are encountering can be cathartic
3
Offering a talk where then ultimate objective is to produce a happier student is a win-win
